It is with big fat happy tears, Cooking Autism, Inc. has the honor to announce that we have accepted every program grant application that we have received this year. You read that correctly! EVERY SINGLE APPLICANT! Can you believe that? Not a single classroom that applied for our Life-Skills Cooking Program Grant was denied.
This means that over 368 local students are growing and learning because of your support! It also means that 56 special ed classrooms are using our resources to help give their students the very best opportunities of learning currently available... because of you! Can you imagine the impact you are making on these students? In five, ten, or even twelve years, these students will be stronger, more confident, have gained healthy life-skills and habits, practiced and mastered some social interactions, and have been given the very best opportunities to advocate and communicate their desires! This is EVERYTHING! Everything!
Over the past month Cooking Autism, Inc. set a goal to finish the year by gaining support to help 12 more special education classrooms next year, $6,000. We announced our goal and the community around us jumped to start campaigning with us, which led to a booming #GivingTuesday event. This month our community raised $4,120 to help meet our goals! With only a few weeks until the end of the year, our non-profit is $1,880 away from ending our biggest year yet! Fantastic!
Call to Action
